Like all the company’s products, the new-design Grimeca brake caliper has originated from collaboration with world-leader motorcycle constructors.
The Grimeca brake caliper is the most competitive, high-performance product on the market, with four opposing pistons 34 mm in diameter and two different mounting point dimensions: distance between holes 100 mm available from February, 108 mm available soon.

The future is now. Grimeca goes on with its activity of research and development in the fields of components and materials, of the technologies and manufacturing process, continuously improving the project and realization of innovative solutions for scooters and motorcycles manufacturers and for all enthusiast motorcyclists.
The development of the new high performance self-ventilated disc is at an advanced stage and its launching on the market is scheduled for March/April 2010.
The rise of speed heat dissipation, produced by the kinetic energy during the braking, allows the making of a high performance brake disc thanks to the improvement of the braking uniformity and to the application of pad/brake disc force of friction.
Chassis, swingarm, engine, brake discs for Aprilia RSV4 Factory/R


Specially made for RSV4 Factory/R, the support of this brake disc is in aluminium and, thanks to the exclusive design by Grimeca and to only six retaining pins, Aprilia's engineers and drivers think of it as a light and strong brake disc since it reduces the unsprung masses on the forecarriage. Besides, the steel braking band turned out to have the best performance for power, braking modularity and lightness.

Today the environmental protection goes through the technology and the research. Grimeca knows perfectly it. In fact it got ready the engine casing covers for Piaggio MP3 Hybrid and, starting from this year, it is the sponsor of Eco Motion Team ,the French team which project and develop technical solutions for a sustainable mobility.
The team, formed by students of the 3rd and 4th year of the French Engineering School “ESSTIN”, won the first prize in Urban Concept EducEco Challenge 2009 class and they will take part in the “Shell Eco-marathon 2010”. For them, the energy challenge of the future: to project, to manufacture and to drive a vehicle that uses the lowest possible quantity of fuel.

Grimeca supported the team as a technical sponsor during all the 2009 races of the World Enduro Championship and the Italian Enduro Championship.
Grimeca placed its technical know-how at Beta Boano Racing disposal, for developing together the strongest discs and pads for the Beta 450 RR and Beta 525 RR racing motorbikes.
The industry came into the Enduro circuit as a protagonist, putting its brand on the motorbike and on the clothes of the drivers of the Piedmontese team..
The whole competitive season has been satisfactory even though there were some accidents in excess.
During the last race of the World Championship in France, Mirko Gritti (class EJ) broke his right hand and his meniscus, so he dropped from 3rd to 5th place, leaving a bad taste in his mouth for a richly deserved result since his season has been constant.
As for Italian Championship (class over 500cc) he finished with a 4th place.
Fabrizio Dini (class 450 cc 4 -strokes – Italian Enduro Championship) fight till the end against Oscar Balletti and he finished with a 2nd place, while in the World Championship (class E2) finished with a 10th place.
Giovanni Gritti (class 450 cc 4-strokes) finished his positive competitive season with an excellent 2nd place in the Senior Italian Championship.
Wishing that the 2010 will be rich in these and other results in National and World field Grimeca renews the collaboration with Beta Boano for the next year too.
